City Council supports Jakarta Provincial Government plan to develop sharia economy in Jakarta.

City Council Commission B Member, Syarifuddin said, sharia economy gives positive impacts from making job opportunities, suppress inequality, and reduce poverty levels. Thus he considered, sharia economy should be socialized to public.

Similar thing is also conveyed by another Commission B member, Subandi. He reminds that sharia economy should be supported by obvious rules to protect the rights of lower and middle societies.
"It is good if sharia economy can be turned on. But it needs obvious rules and its agreement should be mutually understood," he conveyed.
